What Is a Diabetes Academy? Who is it for?

Advice and guidance for people with diabetes can be a bit generic, impersonal. No two people will have the same underlying health conditions or fit in a pigeonhole with their symptoms.  New research has shown us how to keep Type 2 diabetes in remission however the NHS is famously slow to deliver the results in enough people.
Because of this vacuum, historically it’s been left to the weight loss & dieting media to support us. Years of confusing and contradictory messaging has meant we have lost sight of how to manage our body effectively so fad diet plans are the go-to for weight-loss advice.

About Us

Who the hell are we?  Why place your trust in us? Put simply, we have a lot of experience helping people manage their diabetes.  Our 10k strong Facebook group is over 7 years old with huge numbers of remission and people keeping their diabetes in check.  Our CEO, James is a Type 2 Diabetic in remission and has successfully navigated his way through studying the science behind diabetes and also habit-stacking, motivational interviewing and behaviour change. We are not medically trained and we will not making ANY false promises to you about remission and or reversal of your diagnosis.  We think this is important.  Too many diet porgrams and fitness coaches think they can simply shout their way to helping you.  We know the answers you require can be sensitive and need careful management, 100% Safe, 100% evidence based and we have lots of case studies of success from our specialised support groups that have over 10,000 members.
